The Auction is St. Rose School’s largest fundraiser of the year. The goals of our Auction are two-fold: raising revenue of $85,000 AND building community. Our St. Rose community is strengthened as a whole when working together towards a common goal, building a better school for our kids.
What does the Auction raise money for?
The Auction is part of St. Rose School’s annual budget. Auction proceeds provide additional funding that tuition and fees do not cover.
Who organizes the Auction?
The Auction is managed by our Auction Coordinators. Volunteers serve on the planning committee and are organized by volunteer co-chairs. If you are interested in joining the team, please contact our Auction Coordinators through the school office.
Can I volunteer?
Yes! Volunteers are always welcome. Your help with any task, big or small, to help in the preparation, on auction night, or follow up – is greatly appreciated. Sign up on the Volunteer Now page, located at the top right corner, or contact the Auction Coordinators for specific volunteer opportunities.
If I volunteer on Auction night, can I bid on items?
Absolutely! And we hope you do. When you arrive on Auction night, you are encouraged to check in to get a bid number. This gives you the freedom to bid and purchase just like our guests.
What items are going to be auctioned?
Check out our school auction Web site to see what will be featured. The site will be updated as items are confirmed and the full catalog will be published there prior to auction night.
Do I need to register to attend the Auction?
Yes, there are assigned tables. Coordinate with friends to put together a table or choose to be seated at a “get acquainted” table. RSVP forms can be downloaded with the above link and need to be returned to the school office.
Our St. Rose Auction is a great event to celebrate our school, connect with friends, enjoy delicious food and shop for fantastic goods and services. The evening begins with a “cocktail hour” and Silent Auction. After the Silent Auction closes, dinner is served and the Live Auction begins. Fund-A-Need occurs during the Live Auction. Fund-A-Need is a direct appeal for donations towards a current school need that is not identified or allowed for within the current school budget.
